До Миколаєва з робочим візитом прибула Аня Марі Раагаард, спеціалістка проєкту «Демократична інтеграція» молодіжного центру «Ungdomshuset» із данського міста Оденсе. Програма візиту виявилася насиченою не лише офіційними зустрічами , а й живим спілкуванням з миколаївською молоддю.
Разом з Миколаївським міським головою Олександром Сєнкевичем, керівником Офісу Посольства Королівства Данія в Миколаєві Якобом Торрільдом Хансеном та начальником управління молодіжної політики Арсеном Гаспаряном обговорорювали питання у сфері молодіжної політики, проблеми та перспективи розвитку.
У рамках візиту до Миколаєва Аня Марі стала почесною гостею молодіжного проєкту «Готові запитати» від «Медіамайстерні» кафедри журналістики та філології Університету імені Пилипа Орлика.
Інтерв’ювали данську гостю Андрій Кукін, студент 4 курсу університету, депутат молодіжної ради при міському голові міста Миколаєва та Даріна Мельничук, студентка 4 курсу, журналістка видання “МикВісті”.
Захід відбувся англійською мовою.
“Під час цієї зустрічі студентство отримало унікальну можливість поставити прямі запитання іноземній гості, обговоривши з нею особливості демократичного устрою та перспективи співпраці між молоддю двох країн”, – зазначила завідувачка кафедри журналістики та філології Університету імені Пилипа Орлика, PhD Валентина Стєкольщикова.
Учасники розпочали розмову з фундаментального питання про те, у який саме момент робота з молоддю перестає бути просто професією і стає усвідомленою відповідальністю за формування майбутнього всієї нації. Окрему увагу приділили етичному аспекту: де проходить межа між підтримкою самостійності молоді та безпосереднім впливом на її світогляд. Оскільки Данія традиційно вважається «ідеальною» моделлю у цій сфері, експерти намагалися з’ясувати, у чому саме полягає особливість їхнього підходу та який конкретний досвід данської молоді доцільно передати саме миколаївській громаді.
Фінальним акордом зустрічі став аналіз унікального досвіду української молоді, яка зараз формується в умовах війни.
Момент тиші, під час загальнонаціональної хвилини мовчання, став наочним емоційним свідченням того, у якій системі координат сьогодні живе Україна: де кожен крок у розвитку молоді робиться з глибокою пошаною до тих, хто віддав життя за це майбутнє.
Завершуючи зустріч, учасники дійшли спільного висновку, що попри різницю в контекстах, українська та данська молодь сьогодні стають частиною єдиного ціннісного простору. Якщо Данія пропонує перевірені часом інструменти демократії та соціальної згуртованості, то миколаївська молодь демонструє світові феноменальну життєстійкість та здатність творити зміни навіть у найтемніші часи. Саме цей синергетичний обмін — де стабільність зустрічається з незламністю — є ключем до виховання нового покоління лідерів, здатних не просто адаптуватися до майбутнього, а впевнено його будувати.
Anya Marie Raagård, a project specialist with the ‘Democratic Integration’ initiative at the ‘Ungdomshuset’ youth centre in the Danish city of Odense, has arrived in Mykolaiv on a working visit. The programme for the visit was packed not only with official meetings but also with lively exchanges with young people in Mykolaiv.
Together with Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, the Head of the Office of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Mykolaiv, Jakob Torild Hansen, and the Head of the Youth Policy Department, Arsen Gasparyan, they discussed issues in the field of youth policy, as well as challenges and prospects for development.
As part of her visit to Mykolaiv, Anja Marie was a guest of honour at the youth project ‘Ready to Ask’ organised by the ‘Mediamaisternia’ of the Department of Journalism and Philology at Pylyp Orlyk University.
The Danish guest was interviewed by Andrii Kukin, a fourth-year university student and member of the Youth Council under the Mayor of Mykolaiv, and Darina Melnychuk, a fourth-year student and journalist for the publication “MykVisti”. The event was held in English.
“During this meeting, the students had a unique opportunity to ask the foreign guest direct questions, discussing with her the characteristics of the democratic system and the prospects for cooperation between the youth of the two countries,” noted Valentina Stekolshchikova, PhD, Head of the Department of Journalism and Philology at Pylyp Orlyk University.
The participants began their discussion with a fundamental question: at what point does youth work cease to be merely a profession and become a conscious responsibility for shaping the future of the entire nation? Particular attention was paid to the ethical aspect: where exactly does the line lie between supporting young people’s independence and directly influencing their worldview? As Denmark is traditionally regarded as the ‘ideal’ model in this field, the experts sought to identify what exactly makes their approach distinctive and which specific experiences of Danish youth would be most relevant to share with the Mykolaiv community.
The meeting concluded with an analysis of the unique experiences of Ukrainian youth, who are currently coming of age amidst the war.
A moment of silence, during the nationwide minute’s silence, served as a vivid emotional testament to the context in which Ukraine lives today: where every step in the development of young people is taken with deep respect for those who gave their lives for this future.
Concluding the meeting, the participants reached a joint conclusion that, despite differences in context, Ukrainian and Danish youth today are becoming part of a single value space. While Denmark offers time-tested instruments of democracy and social cohesion, the youth of Mykolaiv demonstrate to the world phenomenal resilience and the ability to bring about change even in the darkest of times. It is precisely this synergistic interplay—where stability meets resilience—that is the key to nurturing a new generation of leaders capable not merely of adapting to the future, but of confidently shaping it.
